Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET MAY GOODING December 8, 1917 - December 3, 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Violet May Gooding on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Mum, Gram, G.G. will be greatly missed by her daughters: Jan (Bill) and Jackie; her son Lloyd (Amelia); grandchildren: Jill (Cam), Jeff, Ashley, Abby, Tracey (James) and great-grandchildren Colby and Jessie. Also surviving are her sisters: Bess, Jen (Wes), Grace, Joan and many nieces and nephews as well as brother-in-law Lawrence Gooding. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd, son Tod (Loni), grandson Shane and sister Ruby. Violet was a lady that led a full, active and vibrant life right up to her passing. She was fiercely independent and strong, she was our hero and always there for us. Her family was her greatest joy and she will be with us always. Memorial service celebrating Violet's life will be on Monday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Manitoba Division, 100 - 1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8.
