MARJORIE CARTER (nee DANIELS) Peacefully, on December 3, 2008 Marjorie passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 80 years. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents Frank and Jean (Daniels); husband George M. (Rusty); son George; daughter Virginia; brother Bill and brother-in-law Jack and wife Gwen. Marjorie will be fondly remembered by her son-in-law Wally Henry; granddaughter Debbie McCormick (Pete); grandson Donnie Henry (Courtney); great-grandchildren Carter and Wesley; sister-in-law Nora (Dick); sister-in-law Fran (Daniels); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marjorie met and married Rusty in 1947 and they raised their family in Winnipeg. Marjorie was employed by the Canadian Government and worked in the Manpower and Immigration department. She was a member of the Canadian Club of Winnipeg. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading mysteries and watching classic TV movies. She also had a passion for orchestral music, following the Bombers, was an avid curler and curling fan. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway with interment to follow at St. Vital Cemetery.
