Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS MOROZ Thomas Moroz, January 26, 1925 passed away peacefully November 30, 2008 in Kelowna, BC. Thomas lived a very happy and active life. Born in Winnipeg, he was a former Mayor of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, locomotive engineer for Canadian National Railway, active in union work, federal and provincial politics, as well as, an accomplished pilot. He was very dedicated to his community, serving on various boards and committees and was instrumental in establishing a residence and school for the mentally challenged in Sioux Lookout for which he was cited by the Ontario Ministry of Social Services. He was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Phil) Anderson. Survived by his loving wife Mafalda; five children, Judith, Tommy, Jim (Lois), Michael, Martina; seven grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Erika, Sean, Daniel, Marlea, Charlotte; sisters, Kathy Stackiw, of Winnipeg, and Irene Hroma, of Chicago; as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas' memory may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 2Z6.
