CHARLES FILEWICH Charles Filewich, aged 85 years, of Roblin, MB, passed away at Roblin District Health Centre on Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Surviving are his wife and partner of 56 years, Helen Filewich of Roblin, MB, their children, Carol Filewich of Winnipeg, MB, Marcia (Greg) Bialobzyski of Vegreville, AB, and their children, Alexis, Andrew, and Allison (Chan), Allan Filewich of Roblin, MB, and his children, Callan, Cayla, and Carlin, Lori (Dave) Robinson of Winnipeg, MB. Surviving also are sister Polly (Peter) Basaraba of Fort Frances, ON, brother Joe (Janet) Filewich of Roblin, MB, as well as his beloved side-kick Peekachew. Helen, her children, grandchildren and Peekachew received family and friends on Sunday, November 30, 2008, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home, Roblin, MB. Requiem Divine Liturgy was celebrated Monday, December 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., from Holy Redeemer Ukrainian Catholic Church, Roblin, MB. Interment Service was at Roblin Catholic Cemetery.
