EDNA FRYZA (SWAN) February 19, 1932 - December 3, 2008 Peacefully, at home in the arms of her loving husband, Edna left her family on earth to join her family in heaven. Edna will be lovingly remembered by John, her husband of 58 years, and their children: Carol (Jack) Boyer, Roger (Tina) Fryza, Lynn Roche and Beverly (Tim) Martin. John and Edna were blessed with 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: Angela (Craig), David, Eleri and Gabrielle; Richard; Meredith, Ashley and Eve; Cyndle-Lee, Janelle and Karsey; Raschelle and Justine. Also left to cherish her memory is her loving sister Rhona Knopp, sisters-in-law Lucy Swan, Gloria Swan and Helen Mayer, Jenny Mayer; brothers-in-law Tom Fryza (Vi Roland), and Mike Fryza; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family in Denmark will be cherishing her memory. There to welcome Edna into heaven are her parents, three brothers and a niece. Mom grew up in Ross, Manitoba and met the love of her life, John, at a social picnic in Monominto, MB. Shortly thereafter they were married on August 26, 1950. They raised their family in Stonewall, MB. Mom was a member of the Stonewall Kinette Club for many years. Together, Mom and Dad enjoyed their involvement with the Stonewall K-40 Club. Home was where Mom's heart was and her love and dedication to all of us will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8 at 10:30 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall. Pallbearers are Roger Fryza, Carol and Jack Boyer, Tim Martin, Cyndle-Lee and Janelle Roche. Following a luncheon at the Stonewall Legion, interment will take place at Monominto Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or Stonewall Hospital.
