GUDMUND (JACK) GILLIS OLAFSON 1933 - 2008 On Friday, December 5, 2008 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Jack Olafson, aged 75 years of Morden, MB formerly of the 1-6 District went to his eternal rest. He is leaves to mourn his passing his special friend, Audrey McKay, three sisters, Anna Fitzpatrick of Morden, Sally and Mack Drewry of Cartwright, Oddney and Howie Sager of Morden, two brothers, John and Sharon Olafson of Morden, Paul Olafson of Thornhill and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Ranka Olafson and brother-in-law, Harold Fitzpatrick. Viewing will be at on Monday, December 8 from 7:00 p.m. til 9:00 p.m. only at Wiebe Funeral Chapel 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St Paul's United Church, 353 Thornhill St. in Morden. Interment at the 1-6 Icelandic Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Jack's memory to either the Lions Eye Bank or the 1-6 Community Hall, both available at the church.
