Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONIE MARION (nee CARRIERE) October 2, 1924 On Friday, December 5, 2008 it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Leonie. She will be missed by her daughter Paulette (Guy), one granddaughter Joanne, grandson Patrick (Sarah). She also leaves behind one brother Aime (Hazel), three sisters, Lorraine, Noella, Louise, brother in law Maurice, and sister in law Yvette as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Leonie was predeceased by her husband Yvon Marion, her parents William and Florence; two sisters Patricia and Bertha, brother Wilfred, two brothers in law, Mel Campbell, and Ben Coulombe. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and worked until retirement at the local sewing factory. She took great pride in her raisin pies which she made for town social functions. Leonie was very fond of family reunions and had a tremendous appetite! Leonie resided at the St. Pierre Repos until her passing. The family would like to thank the staff at the Repos for their care and compassion, and above all their patience. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with the Mass of Resurrection following at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church, Father Marcel Chaput officiating. Internment of Leonie's cremated remains will take place in the St. Malo Parish Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Repos Jolys St. Pierre Box 320 St. Pierre Jolys, Manitoba R0A 1V0. Rest in peace dear one, which you so richly deserve.
