MARGARETE MARIE VOLC Margarete Marie Volc, aged 85 years of Fall River, NS, passed away on December 3, 2008 in Parkstone Enhanced Care in Halifax, NS. Margarete was born in Bochum, Germany and spent her early years growing up in Nuth, Holland, where she apprenticed and became a seamstress. She later immigrated to Canada with her husband John to begin a new life in Winnipeg, MB. She spent her retirement years travelling and enjoying island life in Salt Spring Island, BC, later moving to Fall River to spend her remaining years with her son's family. Margarete was a very gracious and generous person who always put other people's needs ahead of her own. Everything she did for her family and friends was Made with Love . She was predeceased by husband John Frank Volc Hans . She is survived by her son John Anthony Volc (Lucille); granddaughter Anna Katrina Volc, Fall River; sister Hedi Rocknagel, Winnipeg, MB; and niece Heidi Albers, Meppen, Germany.
