Hey, Mo! I was thinking about you on Friday, about the good times we all had around your dining room table basking in the sun while we made our minis. I was especially remembering the night I came over and you were making the needlepoint frame and I was staining the loom pieces you'd made me. It was a special night because we'd become acquaintances instead of friends the past year or so and I missed you and the travels we made together. I hope your cacti are doing well, wherever they found new homes. I sure enjoyed your one visit, when we rode our bikes down Grant with the wind blowing in our hair. At least then I knew you were OK up there. We tried to visit you several times this year and I'm sure you know why it never happened. So, next year for sure - even if I have to take each one of our group indivisually! Speaking of our mini group, things sure have fallen apart in that area. First you left us, then I got sick, then Joanne got sick and left us, and this year Millie's had the big party, got shingles, and came out of remission. I don't know why I'm telling you all this because you already know it. I guess it just makes me feel better. I'm trying to find a good home you would approve of for the snow family your Mom made. If you can think of one, please let me know. I've just run out of room, mostly thanks to you assistance with the collection.... Were you are Jo's service today? It was beautiful and the family did a lovely job. And now I realized why I was thinking about you Friday. It was your birthday! You would have been 68! I'll be seeing you. Love and miss you. Five years, almost to the day, and now our Joanne is with you so I hope you made some kits for her. When my turn comes around, I expect you'll both be there to greet me and you will be asking why I didn't bring my toolbox! When we get together, we all talk about you with love and miss you terribly. We have never let anyone else take your place at the table and we won't now with Joanne's place either. Miss you. S. - Posted by: Sharon Reese (Good Friend) on: Dec 09, 2013
