DENNIS RODNEY FRASER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Rodney Fraser, on Sunday, December 7, 2008, at the age of 57. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years Susan; his daughter Heather (Rick); grandson Ethan; his son Chris (Alison); his mother Mary, of Miami; his brother Hugh (Margret); his nephews, Shawn, (Shirley and their children, James and Conner) and Sheldon; his brother-in-law Bob (Eleanor); his nephew Anthony (Charlene and their children, Matthew and Dillon); his niece Cheryl; as well as, his Aunts Annie, Pearl and Bea; Uncle Hank and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Norman and grandparents. Dennis was born on August 26, 1951 and raised on the family farm in Miami, Manitoba. He attended the University of Manitoba, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, in Agriculture, in 1973 and went on to work for Farm Credit Canada. Dennis met his future wife Susan, in Fisher Branch and soon thereafter, transferred to Arborg, where they married and raised their family. Next to his family, Dennis' work was very important to him, providing a service for the farmers. Dennis retired from Farm Credit in 2005, after 32 years of service. A celebration of Dennis' life will be held at the Lutheran Church, in Arborg, on Saturday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the MS Society or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend a thank you to the doctors and healthcare professionals at Arborg Community Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre. And a special thank you to Dennis' homecare ladies who provided excellent care over the past few years. He always looked forward to their company. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home, in care of arrangements.
