WILLIAM LAGIMODIERE It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Lagimodiere. Bill was born in Fort Garry in 1922. He is survived by the love of his life, Margaret (Marge) Lagimodiere. Also by sons and daughters: Sandra (John), George (Lorelei), Gail (Bob), Gary (Sandra), and Bill (Lorraine). He also had a great number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, of which he was very fond. Bill retired as an ice maker from the East End arena in 1988. It was a place where he knew many people and was extremely well-liked. Bill was a gentle, kind person with a jokester like sense of humour. He enjoyed playing all sorts of card games. He also had a great love of nature and the outdoors, where he spent much of his free time fishing. As he got older, he turned his attention to building ornamental items, like finely decorated bird houses, and Christmas reindeer with lights, of which he was proud. Many of these projects were completed with his darling Marge, who was never too far away. He will be missed. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care staff at the Riverview Health Centre, as well as the 4E staff at the Deer Lodge Centre for their fine care. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at the Green Acres Funeral Chapel (located East on Hwy. 1), on Friday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery # 1 Green Acres Lane, (204) 222-3241 Life stories may be shared with friends and family across the globe at www.mem.com
