ENRICO PANCIERA October 6, 1930 - December 9, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Enrico Panciera on December 9th, 2008 at the Riverview health centre. Enrico leaves to mourn, his wife Alice, sons, Robert and his wife Debbie, Richard and his wife Amanda, Daughter Linda, Grandsons, Damian, Derrick, and Michael, brother Aldo, sister Rina and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Pescara, Italy, Enrico immigrated to Canada in his early years and took up residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Enrico retired after many years service with the Winnipeg School division as a journeyman painter/glazier. He proudly served in the capacity of shop steward for his co-workers as a member of CUPE Local 110, during his years of employment. He was an active member of St. Gerard's Parish and Royal Canadian Legion # 9. His passions were watching football and curling as well as sitting down to a friendly game of cards with his wife Alice, and painting anything that stood still. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Phil Mandzuk, Louisa Panciera, and Adriana Guffei for their kind care and attention during dad's battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church, 45 Foster St. on December 16 at 11:00 a.m. presided over by Father Pierre. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Labour Congress Kids Kamp equipment fund , 500-275 Broadway Ave. R3C 4M6
