Rudi is lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret; three children, Ingrid (Dirk), Curt (Gisele) and Laura (Don); and his precious grandchildren, Andrea, Karina, Kyle, Taeylor, Connor, Anthony, Julianna and Nicholas. Born November 16, 1928 in Mannheim, Germany, only child of Anton and Eva Sarbacher, he immigrated to Canada in 1951, initially to Quebec and eventually settling in Winnipeg. Rudi was employed at Alpha Air until his retirement in 1987. Rudi's funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 11:00 a.m. in the Messiah Lutheran Church, 400 Rouge Road. Rudi's family was his treasure and we will cherish his memory forever, remembering with pride his sense of honor, generous spirit and unwavering devotion. Heart of Gold A heart of gold stopped beating Working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best Leaves and Flowers may wither The golden sun may set But the hearts that loved you dearly Are the ones that won't forget. Our dearest Papa, God has you in his keeping; we have you in our hearts. www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com
