HENRY FRIESEN DUECK July 30, 1918 December 10, 2008 It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Henry F. Dueck, on December 10th, 2008, at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home. Dad leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Anna, of 68 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children, Lillian, Ron (Gail) Dueck, Ruth (Alan) Hargrave, Mel (Judy) Dueck; seven grandchildren, Brian Hargrave, Cherissa Richards, Kirsten (Andy) Dreiling, Jean-Pierre Dueck, Dustin Dueck, Brandon (Sara) Dueck, Jordan Dueck; and five great- grandchildren, Noah, Brenna and Braeden Hargrave, and Ella and Julia Dreiling. Henry was predeceased by his parents, and all of his 12 siblings, as well as, his son, John. The family would like to thank the staff at Donwood Manor 2 North for their kindness and care, not only during Henry's stay at Donwood, but also a heartfelt thanks for their exceptional kindness during the last days of Henry's life. In celebration of Henry's Life, a funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Braeside Evangelical Church, 1011 Munroe Avenue, with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing Monday, December 15 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, and at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Henry, to the Alzheimer's Society at 10-120 Donald Street, Wpg. MB R3C 4G2.
