GEORGE ROBINS It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather George Robins on December 9, 2008 at the Riverview Health Center at the age of 70 years. Left to cherish his memory are Cyndy, his wife of 45 years, his children, Kerri Buhl and Keith Robins (wife Shannon), his grandchildren Owen, Rhys and Callum Buhl and Jeffrey and Aiden Robins, his brother Ted Robins (wife Ena), many cousins, and his special friends Tom Macquarrie, Dave Thompson. George was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Bessie Robins, his daughter Tracy and his niece Susan Cheek. George was always sports minded and an avid armchair quarterback for the Blue Bombers. He knew what was important in life and received great pleasure in playing with his grandkids and helping others. George touched many lives in his volunteer work for Cancer Care and will truly be missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Czaykowski and Denise of Cancer Care along with Drs. West, Schroeder and Janice and the staff of Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care. A memorial service will be held in the Buntain Chapel of Calvary Temple at 400 Hargrave, on January 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook, R3C 2B7. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
