RICHARD JOHN DOBBS September 1929 December 2008 John passed away peacefully at home December 6th. Survived by wife Alice of 57 years; daughter Donna Wakshinski; son Wayne (Jean); grandchildren, Cory, Daniel, Trisha, Christopher and Angela; brother Alex Dobrowolski (Natalie); sister-in-law Louise and nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents. Born in Winnipeg. Joined Fire Dept. in 1955, retiring in 1990 as District Fire Chief. Special thanks to all associated with his Home Care and Palliative Care, from the co-coordinators, nurses and those that came to look after him every day. Special thank you to Dr. John Mayba. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date. Donations in John's memory may be made to the Fire Fighters Burn Fund or a charity of one's choice. Deep in our hearts Your memory is kept, To love, to cherish, To never forget. Today, tomorrow, Our whole life through, We will always love And remember you.
