Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULIE OZUNKO (MATWICHYNA) September 18, 1934 - December 10, 2008 Surrounded by her family, our mom, wife, and grandmother passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Julie will be sadly missed by her husband, Roy, her children, Marcie (John) Parker, Darrell Ozunko, Randy Ozunko (Jody Thomson), Andrea (Dan) Phillips, and her grandchildren that she adored Kirsty, Ryan, Reed, Tatiana, Alicia, and Christian. Julie will also be missed by her brother-in-law Alex, her sisters-in-law, Vera and Vi and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Anastasia Matwichyna and her brothers Michael and William. Before her retirement, Julie worked as an administrative assistant for Murray Malkin and Lanny Silver Architects and enjoyed her many years of work in the concessions at the Jets, Goldeyes, and Bomber games. She was very involved with the Garden City Community Centre and enjoyed many years of coaching ringette and baseball teams. Julie loved to cross stitch and cook and will always be remembered for her fabulous Ukrainian Christmas dishes that she prepared. Mom was most proud of her children and made many sacrifices so that her children could pursue their own dreams. Mom showed the same pride towards her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church 250 Jefferson Avenue with Father Lukie, C.Ss.R. officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Julie Ozunko to Immaculate Heart of Mary School New School Fund or a charity of your choice. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
