Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE LA FRANCE On December 9, 2008, Marie La France passed away peacefully at 84 years of age. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Les, grandson Daniel, and brothers Bill and John. Left to cherish her memory are her son Ken (Madeleine) and grandchildren Tim and Carmelle; her son Bruce, grandchildren Kerienne and Rachelle (Darrin), and great-grandchildren Brenna and Brody. She will be missed by her brothers Stan and Joe and many friends. After retiring from a career in hairdressing, Marie and Les enjoyed 15 years of operating their own greenhouse business and traveled extensively all over the world. Marie enjoyed an active social life as an avid square dancer and was also known for her sewing finesse. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, #1 Green Acres Lane, Winnipeg. Interment and reception to follow.
