LAURENCE GEORGE SIELKIE December 9, 1926 December 8, 2008 After a lengthy illness, Laurence passed away at his residence on December 8. Left to mourn his loss are his children, Judy, Barb (Ron), Dale (Randy), Shirley and Mark; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his wife Jean; parents Julius and Millie; brother Art and sister Emily. He is survived by brother Herb. Laurence was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Moosehorn, MB. He loved working in construction and building homes, but his passion was gardening and selling corn. Prayers will be held Tuesday, December 16, 7:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. A service will be held Wednesday, December 17, 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 350 Gilmore Avenue. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
