MARGARET LOUISE LARSON Mrs. Margaret Larson of Scandia, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Linda (George) McCloud-Bondoc of Calgary; two grandchildren, Sherry (Scott) Wasdal of Calgary and Christopher Hein of Victoria, British Columbia; and three great-grandchildren, Michael Lewis, Cole and Bailey Wasdal. Margaret was predeceased by one son, William Mortell in 1980; and her parents, Louis and Marion Davis. Margaret was born on December 18, 1929 in Keene, New Hampshire. She lived in the Northeastern United States until 1967 when she moved to Manitoba. In 1982, Margaret settled in Scandia, Alberta and it was then that she had really found the place for her. She loved the small town life and all that it offered. Margaret spent many years working as a legal secretary before becoming a curator at the Scandia Museum. She retired in 1994. Margaret will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
