NORMAN WESLEY WILDE Died peacefully on December 3, 2008 at Park Place Retirement Residence in Ottawa, ON, at the age of 99 years. He is survived by his two children, Renata F. (late Jerome) Holland of Maynard, MA, and Norman W. G. (Maria Teresa) Wilde of Pensacola, FL, his sister, Margaret Elizabeth Geddes of Winnipeg, his grandsons, David A. Holland of Bedford, MA and Stephen D. Holland of Ames, IA, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Renata Rebecca (nee Doern) in 2003. Born in Winnipeg on June 8, 1909, Norman Wilde served as a Flying Officer in the RCAF in the Second World War. He was a teacher of science for many years in Winnipeg School Division #1 and eventually became Science Coordinator for Winnipeg Schools in 1960, a position he held until his retirement in 1974.
