MARIE-ANGE ALARY (nee CORMIER) Peacefully on December 13, 2008, at Foyer Valade, Marie-Ange passed away at the age of 98. Marie-Ange was predeceased by her husband Leon in 1984; sisters, Georgette Saive, Rochelle Flanagan and brother Moise Cormier. Marie-Ange will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mariette (Allan) Thompson, Robert (Glenda), Denis (Pauline), Gerald (Ginette), as well as 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Marie-Ange was born April 21, 1910 in LaSalle, MB to Alfred and Flore Cormier. Marie-Ange attended St. Mary's Academy and then Normal School where she became a teacher. On February 14, 1933 she married Leon and settled on a farm in La Salle to raise their family. In the late 50s they sold the farm and moved to Winnipeg where they resided for many years. A celebration of Marie-Ange's life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Church in La Salle, MB at 10:30 a.m. A special thank you to the staff of Foyer Valade for providing such excellent care for our mother.
