DEBBIE GALIPEAULT It is with heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Debbie Galipeault, wife of Rick Wareham, daughter of Jennie (Don) and Andre (Shirley) and numerous stepbrothers and sisters. She is also survived by her brother Grant (Marianne), sisters Darcie (Dean), Donna, Darlene (Phil), nieces Mellissa, Mary-Frances, Amber and Falin, nephews Chris (Stef), Blaine, Garrett, Blair and Angus. Her mother and father-in-law Art and Dorothy Wareman. She was predeceased by her grandparents William and Aniela Stoyko, and Rene and Bernadette Galipeau. Debbie was born May 18, 1960. She was raised in East Kildonan, attended McLeod School, Chief Peguis and Kildonan East, graduating with her hairdressing certificate (funny haircuts). But a few years later found her love in the health care field, lastly being employed with Bayshore Healthcare. Debbie lived and breathed her special dogs Louie, Jazzy and Sophie (noodle) who perished with her. Debbie, we will always remember your kind heart, numerous daily phone calls, just wanting to talk. If we could just hear your voice again, even to say goodbye. You worried about everyone before you took care of yourself, and we loved you for being so giving to us all. Amber mourns you and wants you to know you were her special second Mom . May you now rest in peace, with your dogs by your side. The family would like to thank Chera (our special Angel) and all friends for their strength and help during this tragic time. Thank you to the Stonewall RCMP, Fire Department, and Constable Martin for all that you did. Memorial service for Debbie will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Rick Wareham. Any donations may be made at the Bank of Montreal, Springfield and Henderson Hwy. My dearest Debbie, you were my first born, and my love for you will never die, until we meet again. Mom Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.

  • I am so heart broken to hear about Debbie. It was so tragic. I am having a hard time getting my head around the fact that she is gone. I will miss her phone calls and all our laughs. I worked with Debbie since 1982 and she was a very caring person. i am so glad that she got to share her life with Rick. She was a happy girl with that man. My prayers are with you during this difficult time for all. I will light a candle at Christmas for her and hold her close to my heart. - Posted by: jackie anderson (Family) on: Dec 19, 2008
