THERESE MARIE JEANNE BAHUAUD (nee BOURRIER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thérèse Marie Jeanne Bahuaud on Sunday, December 14, 2008, at Foyer Valade. Thérèse was born on June 28, 1927, in St. Lupicin, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her parents Firmin and Jeanne Bourrier, her husband Lucien, her brothers Leon and Antoine, and her sisters Marth and Emerance Chammartin. Thérèse will be lovingly remembered by her children: Charles, Guy (Lee), Beverley Ann Bear and Irene Gibbons; her grandchildren: Eric (Margery Muench), Christine (Ray) Robles, Shannon, Tyler Gibbons and Jade Gibbons and Claudette Joubert; as well as her great-granddaughter Beatrice. Also surviving are her sisters Irene LaBossiere, Emma DeCuypere, and Marina Proteau; and numerous relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff on the 2nd floor at Foyer Valade for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Thérèse during her stay there. A celebration of Thérèse's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19 in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment will follow at a later date in the St. Lupicin Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, the family asks that a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 4G2 or a charity of their choice.
