JEANNE (JEAN) NOTT (nee LACROIX) 1929 - 2008 On Tuesday, December 16, 2008, Jeanne Nott of Manitou, MB aged 79 years passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg. Left to cherish her memory is one daughter, Ruth and Clarence Dyck of Winkler; two sons, Glenn and Debbie of Winnipeg and Troy Nott of Winnipeg; her grandson, Wesley Nott; her brother, Guy and Pat Lacroix of Portage la Prairie and her sister, Lorraine and Don Kiffic of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Percy Nott, January 31, 1996. Mom was born in Oakville, MB on August 1, 1929. She attended school at Baie St. Paul West, MB. She married Percy and lived in Winnipeg for a short time. Percy was transferred to Manitou where they lived most of their adult life. Mom enjoyed gardening, sewing, singing and playing guitar. She was a member of the Manitou Legion Ladies Auxilliary and volunteered many hours of her time. Mom also enjoyed curling and spending time with her friends and family. Prayers will be held on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Manitou with interment at the Manitou Community Cemetery. A special thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre for providing excellent care for our mother. Thank you also to Wiebe Funeral Chapel for their kind and courteous services.
