ANNE FRANCES KISHKA Peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2008 Anne Frances Kishka of Komarno, MB, passed away at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital at the age of 76 years. Anne was predeceased by her husband Peter; brother Bill; parents, Pauline and John Rogodzinski. Survived to mourn her loss, son Rick (Ann), grandson Steven; son David (Stephanie), granddaughters, Vanessa, Bridget and Brittney; brothers, Tony (Kay), Larry (Joan); sisters, Adeline, Elsie (Tony) and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved life. Among her favourite things to do was: gardening, making crafts, farming, playing bingo and travelling. She was young at heart and showed it every time she got down on the floor to play with her grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and visiting with her closest neighbours. There was always a joke being played on someone. She also enjoyed cooking and trying different recipes from her huge cookbook collection. Her specialty was wild game and making Ukrainian food. No one ever left the house hungry. Mom was usually the life of the party and we will miss her dearly. Prayers will be held on Sunday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Komarno, MB. Interment to follow at Pleasant Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
