Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGWENDOLYN MARY CATHERINE (MICKEY) PERFUMO August 25, 1922 December 17, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Nana. Mom passed away peacefully on December 17, 2008 with her family by her side. Mom was independent and strong willed; she devoted her life to caring for her children. She leaves behind her children Darrell, Linda (Clif) and Wayne (Kim). Nana will be especially missed by her grandchildren: Jason (Christine), Jeremy, Tyler (Crystal), her only granddaughter Kelsey, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kitt and Caroline, who all brought much joy and happiness to her life. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to the staff at Vista Park Lodge for their care of Mom over the past few years. As well, a very special thanks to the staff on the fifth floor at the Victoria Hospital for their caring, attentive assistance and treatment during her final days. Mrs P, as she was known to the kids on the block, was always there. We were amazed that she had served in the army during WW2, even appearing on a recruitment poster. She gave me and my family "green" spaghetti (al pesto) which is now being served to the third generation of Smiths. Her home was always open and we enjoyed growing up with Darrell, Linda, and Wayne spending hours and hours by the pool and in the garage. We wish her peace.
