Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRIS KENT Christopher Thomas Lewis Kent, born in Winnipeg, May 15, 1945 passed away peacefully December 11, 2008 at Victoria Hospice. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Leslea; daughter Cindy; sister Susan; brother Tom; father-in-law Alun Morris; and cousins, Brian Kent and family (Winnipeg), and Jim Evans (Idaho Falls). He was predeceased by his parents, George and Gwen. Chris was considered a spark-plug in whatever interest or career he pursued and consequently developed innumerable circles of friends in both Winnipeg and Victoria. Chris was Past-President of Victoria Harbourside Rotary, a familiar Jazz MC at many west coast festivals. For over 30 years, Chris has enjoyed parts in movies and commercials, stage performances, and the love of country music and Dixieland Jazz. Chris' sales careers started with the family business in Winnipeg, Lewis Kent, and later, in Victoria, included the media business, and for the past six years, vehicle sales with his good friends at Pacific Mazda. A celebration of Chris' life will be held at the Victoria Yacht Club after the holiday season. Date and time to be announced early January. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris' memory to Victoria Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation, 1510 Fort St., Victoria, BC V8S 5J2. We all love you Chris! TIMING!
