HEATHER JEAN PETERS (nee CAMPBELL) Suddenly, on December 19, 2008, mom left us to take her rightful place beside the Lord. Mom was born in Winnipeg on April 30, 1943 and as a little girl lived in Stonewall where she loved to sing out loud in the fields. Mom and her family returned to Winnipeg where years later she met and married our dad Frank Peters. Mom loved to see the outside and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to paint and create beautiful hand-made gifts. Mom was predeceased by her father Robert, her mother Peggy and her baby daughter, our sister, Dawn Marie. Mom leaves behind to mourn her passing, her sister Carol Sulyma (Don); three daughters; Joanne, Lana, Debbie, and her only son Frank; six grandchildren Renée, Raymond, Clint, Courtney, Kyle, Tyler and many nieces and nephews. Mom will be missed on this earth but will remain forever in the hearts of those whose life she touched. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Grandma was the glue of our family. Fondest memories were gathering with my aunt's, cousins and uncle every Saturday for as long as I can remember; sharing jokes, lots of laughs and impromptu dancing in her kitchen. She crosses my mind daily and I miss the sound of her laughter. One of the strongest women I've been blessed with in my life. - Posted by: Renee (Granddaughter) on: Oct 05, 2025

  • Heather always spoke the truth to everyone even when she was used by others as she was indeed a person of a heart that cared to others before herself. Though I am not part of this family for years now I do know that God looked on her heart of who she was and gave herself to others. Knowing today I still mist this wonderful lady that cared more about others than others cared about her. The Good Lord knew her before she was born, great job Heather of what came out of your heart. God was with her, didn't know that back then but surely know that now. Thanks for being there even for me. MikeF - Posted by: Mike Fournier (passed son in law) on: Apr 16, 2025
