Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUNDINA KITKOWSKI ( nee ANDERSON) September 3, 1925 December 20, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lundina, in the early morning of December 20, 2008, with her loving daughter Gail by her side. Lundina was born on September 3, 1925 in Balsam Bay, Manitoba. She married the loved of her life on November 29, 1947, where they made their home in Anola, Manitoba. Mom enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and she was a great cook who loved opening her home to many guests. Mom was always proud of her family and their achievements. Mom was predeceased by her son Kelvin in 2001. Lundina will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Ralph, her children, Rick (Laurie), Violet (Ralph), Gail (Ron), Julie (Jim), Dale and her daughter-in-law Anita. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brian (Jen), Diana (Brando), Janet (Ron), Jason, Allan, Rick, Denna (Dylan), Andrew (Jen), Laura and Kathleen; her great-grandchildren, Jaclyn, Terran, Austin, Alicia, Trista and Kaylynn. She is also survived by her sisters, Grace, Ingrid (Freddie) and Dolly. The family would like to extend our deepest thanks to all the staff on Ward 5 at Tyndal Place, Selkirk. In lieu of flowers if friends so wish, donations may be made in Lundina's name to Tyndal Place, Ward 5, Selkirk Mental Health Centre, 825 Manitoba Avenue, P.O. 9600, Selkirk, MB R1A 2B5. A memorial service in her honor will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel 1800 Day Street. Reception to follow at the Anola Community Club. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
