ISABEL FLORENCE YORK (nee KRZYZANOWSKI) Peacefully with family by her side, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday evening, December 20, 2008 at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home. Predeceased by her husband George and brother Frank. She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Jody (Derek), Kevin (Darlene) and Audra (Mel). She was blessed with two long awaited grandchildren, Shaelynne and Dylan, who brought great joy to her life, she was the greatest Nana. Before her marriage to Dad, she loved to travel, which she continued to do with the family. Mom loved being at home and was dedicated to taking care of us. Although she was busy with all of us, she still continued her interests such as working for Avon and going to league bowling with Dad every Tuesday night. In October 2002, she moved to Meadowood Manor where she participated in all activities, field trips and attended all church services held there. Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff at Meadowood Manor for the excellent care given to Mom during her stay, as well as the comfort they brought her during her final days. Funeral service will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre.
