MARY WILLOX 1927 - 2008 On Friday, December 19, 2008, Mary Willox, nee Kucher, passed away at the age of 82 years. Remaining to forever cherish Mary's memory are her daughters, Dorothy Shuturma (Don), Susan Kulczycki (Larry); son Jim Willox (Shelly); along with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as, Jim Willox Sr.; and her siblings, Anna, Frank (Leona), Stan, Rose (Chuck), Patricia (Walter), Marcia and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Nettie Kucher; first husband Nick Olinek; sister Margaret and her good friend Chris Williams. Mary was a very unique person with many talents. She loved wood refinishing, sewing, and flower arranging, among other things. She could take an apparently useless object and turn it into a work of art. To support herself and her children, Mary had various careers as a waitress, bartender, security guard and in sales. Life was not easy for mom, but she did very well in raising her children, and she was an inspiration to us all. Mom was a strong believer in Jehovah God and the hope of a future everlasting life. Mary's funeral service will be held on Friday, December 26 at 7:00 p.m. in Inkster Gardens Kingdom Hall, 1877 Inkster Boulevard. Mom spent her last few months at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, and we would like to thank the staff for the compassionate care they gave her. We love and miss you mom, and hope to see you again in a better place
