Meryl was born on November 10, 1919 in Winnipeg where she met and married her lifelong partner, Herb Malcolmson. Together they had the opportunity to live in several cities across Canada before returning to Manitoba when they retired. Meryl's greatest joy was spending her summers at the Harrison Homestead farm in the Carman - Graysville area where she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. The family wishes to thank Dr. Cavers and the caring staff at Victoria Hospital for their thoughtfulness and compassion. A family service of remembrance will follow at a later date in Carman. If friends wish, donations may be made to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8, in Meryl's memory.
