Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUZANNE LANNOO It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Suzanne Lannoo (nee DeJonckheere). With her daughter Cecille, at her side, Nana was taken to be with her loved ones, in Heaven, on December 21, 2008. Suzanne was predeceased by her husband, Edmond Lannoo; her mother and father, Marie and Arthur DeJonckheere; her three sisters and one brother; son Maurice Lannoo; and daughters, Lorraine Caron and Bernice Ashton; her twin grandchildren, Marcia and Maurice Caron. Nana, as she was fondly known to all her family and friends, will be sadly missed by her daughter Cecille Dreger (Ernie); daughter-in-law Joan Lannoo (Maurice); her 16 grandchildren, Edlaine Hamill (Craig), Darlene Caron (Barb), Minty Caron (Cathy) and Michael Caron; Brent Lannoo (Martha), Jeff Lannoo (Chris), Ian Lannoo (Charlene), and Darren Lannoo (Laura), Colleen Bain (Cam), Laurie McCaughan (Louis); Cheryl Ashton (Huw), Ray Ashton (Dixie) and Pam Ashton; Warren and Bob Ward, Kim Ward (Victor); as well as, her 16 great-grandchildren, Megan, Gavin, Casey, Andrew, Aaron, Izak, Jamie, Brianne, Chelsea, Jolene, Eryck, Coltin, Michaela, Noah, Isabella, Tyra, Jeff and Jason; her great-great-grand-children, Carter and Jackson. Suzanne was born in St. Boniface on July 25, 1909. ln 1930 she married the love of her life, Edmond Lannoo and moved to Charleswood/ Headingley, where they raised their four children and operated Charleswood Dairy until Edmond's death in 1950. In 1957 Nana took employment with the Manitoba Government as a Matron at Vaughan Street Detention Centre, where she worked until her retirement. During her retirement years Nana enjoyed travelling the world with her daughter Cecille and her best friend Alida Taillieu, as well as, spending quality time with her many grandchildren. Nana was a true matriarch ensuring her large family was treasured and well taken care of. Each and everyone benefited from the time they spent with Nana at her home and her cottage at Twin Lake Beaches. Suzanne spent the last seven years as a resident of Extendicare Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home where she was loved by all who had the pleasure of caring for her. The family would like to thank the Administration, Nursing Staff and Care Aides for the excellent care Nana received during her time there. A burial and Celebration of Life is planned for the summer of 2009. For those wishing to honor Suzanne's life the family requests that you attend a Midnight Mass of your choosing December 24, 2008. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MS Society of Manitoba. Rest in Peace, Pet. You will be greatly missed and we will always love you. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
