Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH REMPEL Peacefully, on Sunday, December 21, 2008, surrounded by her children, Elizabeth, at the age of 97, passed from this life into eternity, with her precious Saviour Jesus. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Jacob in 1991. Also, gone before her was her infant son Harry; her parents; and 10 brothers and sisters. Elizabeth was born in Russia on January 11, 1911. She and her family experienced the horrors of the Russian Revolution and two world wars before she arrived safely in Canada with Jacob and four small children in 1947. She always spoke of how thankful she was to be living in this wonderful free country. Elizabeth is survived by sons, Erwin, Eric (Bonnie), John, Waldy, and daughter Mary (Rory). She is also survived by six grand-children and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. We would like to thank the staff at Donwood Personal Care Home for their loving care for our mother and grandmother.
