NORMAN GEORGE LOCKE It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband and Dad, Norm on December 22, 2008 at the age of 81. He leaves to mourn his death, beloved wife Linda (nee Halles) of 32 years; daughters Lynda (Doug), Sandy and Gayle; grandchildren: Scott (Kerri), James (Chrissy), Craig (Teri), Ryan and Jodie (Brendan); great-grandchildren Ethan, Hunter, Makenna and Danika, as well as numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his four year old son, Norman. Norm was employed in sales from the age of 18, working many years at Eatons, Ashdowns, Waco and his own company NGL and Associate. Norm was a sports enthusiast, playing hockey, golf and curling. After retirement he became a devout fan of the Blue Jays, Goldeyes and Bombers. He liked to spend Saturday afternoons at the pub with his cronies discussing old times, politics and anything else they thought they could fix. Norm will be remembered for his ability to whistle any tune you could name, which he did right up until the end. He will be missed by his best friends Cindy and Fozzie. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and aides on Unit 1 and 2, Fifth Floor, Seven Oaks Hospital for the care given to Norm during the many months he was there. Cremation has taken place, and a private celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way.
