Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATIE (KAY) KALANSKY October 21, 1919 - December 21, 2008 Passed away peacefully at St. Norbert Personal Care Home with her family at her side. Katie was predeceased by her husband, Steve in 1980, and her son, Richard, in 1998. Katie is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Alan), daughter-in-law, Maureen, grandson, Christopher (Cindy), granddaughter, Megan, great-granddaughter, Allison and sister, Doris Prawdzik of Hamilton, Ontario. Katie was a devoted and loving wife and mother who always put her family above all else, but as her children became more independent it allowed her to fulfill her dreams of owning a successful flower shop. The family would like to extend our deepest thanks to the staff of the West Wing at St. Norbert Personal Care Home. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A memorial service in Katie's honour will be held on Monday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue.
