Upon his return from overseas, he was employed with Brewery Products to Carling Breweries to Associated Beer Distributors, as a truck driver for 32 years up to his retirement. He was a 65-year member of the Fort Rouge Legion. Reuben loved baseball and fishing. He had a true love for animals and a genuine passion for birds, flowers and nature in general. He loved to play cards and pool. Reuben thoroughly enjoyed times spent with his family. He looked forward to his trips to Lee River, a place where he made many friends. Dad was our tower of strength, our friend. He was deeply loved by his family - my how we'll miss you. So long sweet prince. You will be added to our memories. So long, cheerio for now, until we meet again. Special thanks to Dr. Olsen, Dr. Maxwell and all the staff at the Victoria Hospital for their help, compassion and comfort.
