Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELE DE MEYER (nee MISTELBACHER) On Friday, December 26, 2008, Adele, passed away peacefully at Kin Place Care Home in Oakbank, Manitoba. Adele was born September 6, 1924 in Ardagga, Austria. Her parents Karl and Christina brought their children Karl, Marie, Adele, Christine, Frank and Ernest to Canada in June 1932. Adele was predeceased in December 2001 by Maurice, her loving husband of 57 years. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Joyce (Maurice) Gobeil, her sons, Brian (Dianne), Murray (Louise), Randolf and her grandchildren, Curtis (Lynn), Janelle (Eric) Reineke, Dianne Gobeil-Loyns, Wade, Krystal and Tamara and her great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brendan, Caitlin, Julien, Joel and Christopher. She leaves to mourn her sister, Christine (Marcel) Renaud, her brothers, John (Carol), Adolf (Doreen) along with her sister-in-law Cecile (Ernie), Stella (Frank) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Karl, Marie, Frank, Ernest and Theresa. Adele lived most of her life on the family farm in Prairie Grove, Manitoba where Mom and Dad worked very hard as a team to operate their dairy and grain farm. She took great pride in her home, flower gardens and yard. She was known as being a great cook by family and friends. The doors were always open to receive company for a visit with coffee, her famous homemade raisin bread and coffee cake. She really enjoyed spending time at their cottage at Royal Lake, Ontario, whenever there was an opportunity to get away from the farm with Dad or other family members. In June 2001, she took residence at Kin Place Care Home in Oakbank, Manitoba where she was very happy and well taken care by the staff until her passing. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all the staff at Kin Place for their compassion and loving care given to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 302-171 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB. R3C 1M4, Phone #786-2637. Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, #1 Hwy. E and Navin Road on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Green Acres.
