JOSEPHINE SANDERSON 1932 - 2008 Peacefully in her sleep on December 25, Josephine Alvine Marie Sanderson (nee Proulx) went to be with the lord. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Melvin, parents Michel and Angeline, sisters, Simone, Rita, Diane, Bernice, Sylvia, Jenette and Mary, brothers, Alex, Armand and Jerry and sons in law Bob and Cyd. She is survived by her children Mary Ann Goring, Cecelia (Bill) Kereliuk, Paul (Rita), Marcel, Lucille (David) Durack,, Monique Naylor (Leslie) and two brothers Albert and Hector. She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and cousins who she loved and cherished. On June 21, 1932 Josephine was born into a large French speaking family. She grew up in St. Boniface and worked for the Gray Nuns. She married Melvin on March 31, 1951 and raised her family in a loving Catholic home. She was a member of Our Lady of Phantom Parish. She loved to play Bingo and Lottery hoping to win the big one, and going for car rides to Lockport with Monique and Leslie. The family would like to thank the home care staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, especially Jo-Anne and Nadia, paramedics Curt and Paul and all the staff of Mount Carmel Clinic. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 1160 675 McDermot Ave. R3E 0V9. A Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 30 at Neil Bardal Inc. 3030 Notre Dame Ave. across from Brookside Cemetery. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
