ARMANDE (MANDE) BERARD (NEE MORISSETTE) After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Armande, on Sunday, December 28, 2008, at the age of 68 years. Armande will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Aurele; daughters, Diane (Joe) Romanson, Nicole Berard, Lori (Gilbert) Lorteau; and her precious grandchildren, Danielle, Stephanie, Makayla, Tyler and Kendra. She was predeceased by her sister Aurise and infant son Roger. Armande was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunty and friend, who always put other people's needs and feelings ahead of her own. She will be remembered as a selfless woman, who made sure that everyone else was taken care of before herself. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff on 3B at St. Boniface Hospital and to Toby and staff of Palliative Home Care. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne's Road.
