ERNESTINE VERRIER (nee LAURENDEAU) May 20, 1919 December 26, 2008 Peacefully, on Friday, December 26, 2008, Ernestine, passed away, at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her sister Gratia Boisjoli (Jules); as well as, many nieces, nephews and friends. Ernestine was predeceased by her beloved husband Gérard, on January 12, 1990. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Alma Seewald (Charles), Alice Desrosiers (Rosaire); and brothers, Raoul (Diana), Adélard (Rita) and Wilfrid (Irene). Prayers will be said at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. on Friday, January 2 at 7:00 p.m. with viewing beginning at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. with viewing one-half hour prior to the service on Saturday, January 3 at l'Eglise Précieux-Sang, 200 Kenny St. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Foyer Valade for their compassion and care during Ernestine's last four years.
