Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVANGELINE ALICE MCDONALD Peacefully, on December 30, 2008, at the age of 94 years, Evangeline, passed away, at Vista Park Lodge. She was predeceased by sisters, Josie and Katie; brothers, Leslie, Morgan, George, Frank and Maurice. Evangeline is survived by her brother Donald; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins. Evangeline was born September 27, 1914 in Gunton, Manitoba, where she later attended Gunton School. Evangeline lived and worked on a farm and also had many other jobs, such as Canada Car and worked as a nurse at General Hospital in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where she later returned to Winnipeg, Manitoba, for retirement. A celebration of Evangeline's life will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
