CINDY BUDGE It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Cindy Budge, on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at the Lakeshore General Hospital, in Ashern, with family by her side. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband David; her son Marty (Angel); her mother Helen; her sister Lorie (Gary); grandchildren, Jesse and Juliana; along with numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, close friends and neighbours. Cindy was predeceased by her father Leo Rohs in 1999. Cindy was born on December 3, 1958 in Winnipeg, MB. She married David on October 8, 1976. Cindy and David began farming in 1980 where they raised their son Marty. She enjoyed farming alongside her husband. For many years, Cindy worked at Jean's Restaurant in Ashern. Most recently, she ran and operated Cindy's Kitchen at the Interlake Cattlemen's Co-op (Ashern Auction Mart). Spending time with her family was one of her many joys, as was putting on large spreads of delicious foods for all that came. She was an avid gardener and even during her illness managed to have a yard full of flowers. Cindy enjoyed life to it's fullest potential and always saw the good in all things. She will be greatly missed. In keeping with Cindy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at the Dog Lake Cemetery, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Our family is grateful and expresses thanks to the staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeshore Hospital Guild, in care of Julie Bergner, Box 721, Ashern, MB R0C 0E0 (for use in the Palliative Care Unit).
