MARIE ROBINSON (LANGEMAN) Suddenly, at her residence, on Sunday, December 28, 2008, Marie, beloved wife of Robert, passed away, at the age of 59 years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 26 years, Robert; her sister Valerie (Barry) Melnyk; and her special niece Maria. Marie was born and raised in East Kildonan, attended St. Alphonsus Church and was actively involved with the youth groups there. She attended Miles Mac Collegiate and then entered the working world, spending some time employed with several engineering companies including Wardrop, Acres Engineering and Reid Crowther. She married Robert in 1982 and settled in Anola, Manitoba. Marie spent a great deal of time volunteering for various things and in 1990 began assisting at Lion's Manor. She found great satisfaction and personal reward helping the residents there, they became a part of her life and extended family, a relationship that lasted for 18 years. She loved her trips to Hawaii and created many wonderful memories and friendships there. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Klassen Funeral Home, with viewing commencing at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Bill and Wendy Hnytka, who rushed barefoot through the snow to offer their assistance, at a most difficult time. A special thank you is also offered to the Anola First Responders, for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
