ELLEN GUNHILD STOREY Mother, peacefully, passed away, surrounded by her family, on December 30, 2008, at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas E. Storey. She will be greatly missed by her son Thomas J. Storey (Eleanora), of Canmore; daughter-in-law Judith (Paul), of Winnipeg; grandsons, Thomas (Joanne), of Brisbane, and Andrew (Maki), of Toronto; great-grandson Thomas, of Brisbane, and sister-in-law Gwen Storey, of Winnipeg; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Mother enjoyed the outdoors and sports. She was an avid curler (City Champs 1959 to 1960) and golfer. Her greatest pleasure was to enjoy the Pointe du Bois area and the Winnipeg River system. The family thanks the friends and staff at the Wellington Retirement Centre, where Mother spent many enjoyable years. The family expresses their deep appreciation to the doctors and staff of Grace Hospital for their great support and consideration.
