GERALDINE EDNA BELL (nee STONE) March 30, 1928 December 26, 2008 Geraldine Edna Bell, of Calgary, passed away, on Friday, December 26, 2008, at the age of 80 years. Geraldine lived in Winnipeg for most of her life where she enjoyed her life as a mom and homemaker. She particularly enjoyed the ladies in her Bridge Club. Geraldine leaves behind many close friends around the country and at the Beverly Estates, in Calgary, where she lived for the last five years. She was a friend to all. Dear Gerry, A dearer friend we've never known It all began with a girl named Stone. We formed a bridge club strong and true, Which has stuck together like super glue. We'll miss you Gerry, you've been the best Now Calgary will be your cozy nest. All the best from a club that grew Because of a wonderful lady like you!! Geraldine is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Valerie Bell; and grandchildren, Emma, Christopher and Jason. She is also survived by her siblings, Ron (Darlene) Stone, Leigh (Tom) Garnham, Jackie (Wilf) McCarthy, and Rick (Susan) Stone. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, John, who passed away in 2002. Private services were held in Calgary. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
