EDGAR FRANK TOEWS Edgar Frank Toews, Eddie , passed away December 30, 2008 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1992. Eddie leaves to cherish his memory his son Robert (Georgina) and daughter Carol (Ken) Cwiok; grandsons Adam and Andrew; sister Erna (Jake) Remple. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Eddie was born on August 3, 1925 at home on the farm in Pleasant Valley, Manitoba later moving to Rosenort, Manitoba. At age 17 he moved to Winnipeg and started working at Manitoba Pool Elevators until his retirement. A couple of years after mom passed away he moved to Virden wanting to get back to the country life. Dad was an easy going fellow who never raised his voice. He loved camping and fishing and spent a lot of time doing just that with his family and often just with his son.
