MYRTLE ANNE WYNANT Her angels are guiding her home and her loved ones are lighting her way. Myrtle Anne Wynant passed away peacefully on December 26, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba after a courageous battle with cancer. Myrtle was born March 14, 1939 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her father George, her mother Anne (nee Kaczmar), and her brother Dennis. Myrtle is survived by her loving husband Cliff Lear; her brother Larry Wynant and his wife Jessie; her daughter Deanna Schuerbeke with her husband Bruce Rehlaender and their two children, Jamie and Sophie; her son James Schuerbeke with his son Zachary; her daughter Laurie Schuerbeke with her husband Russ Hannay and their children, Brian and Rowan; her son Brant Schuerbeke with his wife Erika; her daughter Rhona Schuerbeke with her partner Rick Solecki and their children, Ryan Greenlay, Jorden, Dylan and Brianna Solecki; and her son Vance Beck with his wife Kara and their newly born daughter Olivia. Myrtle was a well known Manitoba artist who designed a distinctive line of angels and sculptures which captured special occasions in life. She touched the lives of many people far and wide with her creations. Above all, Myrtle was the most amazing mother to her six children, each of whom will miss her terribly. She took much joy in all of life's experiences, large and small. She will be forever remembered as a beautiful woman who deeply loved her family and friends. She had incredible inner-strength, a never-ending positive attitude and an innate ability to spoil each and every grandchild (especially with gummy worms). She will be dearly missed by us all but we know that her beautiful spirit is free and dwelling in love. Thanks Mom, sister, wife and friend for your unrelenting love and support. You are truly the best. A celebration of Myrtle's life will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Niakwa Country Club, 620 Niakwa Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Myrtle's memory to a charity of one's choice. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
