ARTHUR JOBIN Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the St. Claude Health Centre, Arthur Jobin passed away at the age of 70 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Henri (Gisèle), Georges (Gisèle) of St. Claude, Maurice (Susan), Ernest (Sharon), sister Cecile Deurbrouck (Robert), sister-in-law Lucette, of Winnipeg and several nieces and nephews. He will also be lovingly remembered by his aunts, Marie Binne and Eugenie Dondo. He was predeceased by his parents Jeanne in 2008 and Albert in 1993; his brothers, Albert in 1996, Lucien in 2001, and Armand in 2002. Arthur was born on April 19, 1938 in St. Claude, Manitoba where he lived all his life. He was close to all his siblings who always included him and made him feel so treasured and protected. He was particularly fond of Henri with whom he had a special bond. Arthur was a kind and gentle person whose quiet manner sheltered his very observant and perceptive nature. He left us to join his parents and three brothers in eternity, where we are confident his Mom has lovingly spent the past seven months preparing a perfect place for him. Adieu Tutur Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. preceded by prayers at 1:30 p.m. Mgr. Roger Bazin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews: Janelle Jobin, Suzanne Kirkness, Joanne St. Goddard, Ron Deurbrouck, Raymond Jobin, and Rick Jobin. The family wishes to thank the St. Claude Health Centre staff for their dedicated care and concern. Special thanks are extended to Henri and Gisèle for their constant devotion in ensuring Arthur's well-being over the years.
